There are some great
dehydrators out there, but which one do you choose to preserve your hard earned bounty?
Seeds should be mixed with water in a 1:1 ratio and soaked just while you're dragging
the dehydrator out of the basement, wiping it off, fussing with the parchment paper, etc..

I do nt like the idea of a
dehydrator but will look
out for one for the sprouts etc..
Cut
out the cookies of desired shape, and carefully transfer them to screened
dehydrator trays.
Storing them like this actually makes the wrappers a little more pliable than when they first come
out of the
dehydrator.
But they are incredible warm and fragrant right
out of the
dehydrator or oven.

It is much easier to mostly dry them
out in a food
dehydrator and then smoke them.
If one of the mixes turns
out too sticky and not firm enough, rolling it between a Teflex sheet and a sheet of parchment paper and drying a little in the
dehydrator should ease the cutting / shaping process.
Having said that it's my Birthday tomorrow and I'm in the middle of making a raw vegan and Paleo red velvet layer cake using my
dehydrator so if it turns
out well then next year I'll have some raw Christmas cakes and puddings for those of you that like the more traditional type of Christmas treat.
Roll
out cookie dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper / Teflex
dehydrator sheets to 1/4» thickness.
I've done this a few times now, and realized that a high
dehydrator temp is no good, it's got to be low, which of course means it will take a LOT longer to dry them
out.
Once they are all ready, I give them a good smoosh to flatten them
out a little so they will fit better in my
dehydrator.

If you don't have a
dehydrator, an oven will also work well but you will be cooking
out some of the nutrition.

You won't be able to dehydrate these crackers on the regular trays; if you have a fruit leather tray, you can use that, but even better is to trace the
dehydrator tray onto parchment paper, and cut
out parchment paper bottoms for every tray that you'll be using.
If you want to use the pulp for these cookies I would recommend drying the pulp
out in a
dehydrator or very low oven first and then blending it into a flour.
I reckon this recipe could be made raw but I don't have a
dehydrator to test it
out.
