this denim dress which I found in a vintage shop, and it's everything I need for this spring; the comfort, simple yet trendy, also perfect for many occasions!!

But I'm digging this spring's long floral
dresses,

denim jacket or white sneakers.
It is all about layering; underneath we have this darling
denim dress,
which is perfect for these spring days.
That lace maternity
dress looks just like the one Joanna is wearing in the photo below,
which is pretty cute paired with that
denim jacket... just saying!
I paired my
dress with a
denim jacket from Theory
which is old, but similar styles here, here + here, some Jack Rogers sandals -LCB- also have them in gold -RCB-, and a super fun handbag that I got a few summers ago on my honeymoon to Italy.
However, that pile of rather boring pairs of skinny jeans —
which I have a hard time styling nowadays anyway — made way for
denim culottes, shirts, jackets, and little
dresses.
It has a little bit of a pattern in it,
which gives it a different twist on the
denim dress!
Not until I came across this lace - up
denim dress,
which no doubt was inspired by the Gucci version from last summer, did I consider wearing
denim dresses.
On my style list is a
denim pinafore and i am going to wear it with a collared shirt
which i think will work for this too if I want to style this
dress too.

dress this up with heels and lace or sheer blouse or go the more casual route with chucks and a tee shirt +
denim jacket combo (all of
which I plan on wearing at some point this fall).
For a daytime ensemble, I
dressed the romper down with a cropped

which is one of my closet must - haves.

To leave those sandals the spotlight I wore a more basic off - the - shoulder
dress,
which you already saw in one of my last posts layered together with
denim.
The
denim jacket is an add on
which goes super well with this
dress.
I was wearing a black batwing
dress from Shein with a lovely oriental detail in the front and Shein ripped black
denim shorts
which I love and I am glad that I have found the perfect pair to wear for the rest of the summer.
So, I dug to the back of my closet and found this amazing blue
denim dress, I think it was one of sister's
dress circa 1992 - 94;
which makes it all the better for the comeback trends.
Also, this
dress is SO soft,
which is a major plus in my book I added my favorite pair of cutout shoes and a light
denim jacket to complete the look.
Here we have a frilly
dress and long pendant, both of
which are a little Boho, paired with harness boots, a
denim jacket, and a rugged backpack.
Sometimes
denim shorts can look overly casual,
which is fine if that's the look you're going for but I wanted to
dress them up a little bit so I added an eyelet button - down shirt and a classic navy blazer for a preppy chic look.
I paired my slip - ons with my super comfy Hush Venice Beach
Dress in Poppy (they also have it in olive now,
which looks lovely), my super old
denim jacket and the new Yosa black Bucket bag (
which is a great little hands free cross-body little bag!).

So that being said, this off the shoulder
denim dress really took the whole cake for me, being that it combined
denim, ruffles, and an off the shoulder vibe, plus it hovers around $ 50
which literally couldn't be a better combination.
To resist the on - and - off chilly wind, I dug out one of my favourite
denim vests
which I bought three years ago, in fact, I can't get tired of wearing it, it matches well with a great range of items including maxi
dresses, tees, shirts, bra tops.
I think the rule of thumb here (and that
which most cardigans are lacking) is structure — that's why your
dress looks so much better with the
denim on top.
Dungarees seem to have become a step up from the playsuit we often saw being styled over the summer, and this childhood staple has now been revivified in many different styles for the chillier season, in classic
denim or in cute pinafore
dresses, all of
which scream retro and modern in the new - old - fashioned - way.
This light jean

which means it's a lighter - weight
denim than standard, making it ideal for warmer spring and summer days.
I saw tons of colored
denim (yellow, blue, red, pink being the most popular I saw
which we carry at S&T), big floral Lily Pulitzer
dresses & skirts (available at 4th & O), mixed prints being paired and people wearing complete solid looks with one statement pop of color piece whether it was a necklace, scarf, the shoes or a jacket!
