This sophomore effort from DICE isn't necessarily a bad
game, but so much
of its core
design remains at odds with fan expectation, earning scorn from

of game, but it

game with creative level

game remain relatively unchanged: You pilot a claw shaped ship using the right stick and shoot the oncoming deluge
of spawning geometric shapes with the left, adjusting your playing style in accordance with the
designs of the shapes, for instance, adding a little wiggle in your firing trajectory in order to land a hit on those annoying green squares.
Lara's character
design remains faithfully intact with a range
of unlockable outfits for the iconic Lara Croft such as a classic outfit and a core classic outfit from the original Tomb Raider
games, while Hitman, Deus Ex and Just Cause themed outfits are available in addition to an unlockable outfit per chapter totalling to 13 outfits.
Unfairly caught up in the lootbox controversy due to some cosmetic
design choices the
game remains, at the time
of writing, free from microtransactions.
