film — it's not scary or particularly unsettling apart for a few exquisitely created images — but it is breathtakingly lovely, visually composed
like a painting, scored and sound
designed by Toru Takemitsu with a spareness that leans
on silence, and suffused in sadness, regret, and loss.

I would marvel at the ingeniously
designed video covers for

But those high tech toys were
like big kid fantasies come alive, magnificently
designed vehicles rolled out as lovingly detailed miniatures with a sense of awe and wonder, and the success of the spawned two feature
films that upped the ante
on the spectacle.
Blu - ray Highlight: «Behind the Scenes of Kevin» isn't your typical making - of featurette, but rather an intelligent discussion about the movie with interviews from the cast and crew
on a number of topics
like adapting Lionel Shriver's controversial novel for the big screen, casting, production
design and the
film's various themes.
Some more traditional California - culture
