While the game looks absolutely gorgeous, and following on from that initial wow - factor of
the detailed facial animations (which I will get back to later), the game is actually rather boring to play.
Possibly the most notable thing about this game is the addition of
detailed facial animations which promised to provide the game with an added level of depth and realism that has often been missing from other games.
Players have excellent animations, from fluid movement to
detailed facial animations based on what is happening in the game.
Ninja Theory was one of the first studios to use motion capture techniques to really capture

detail has increased for not only fighters, but also environments such as Fortress of Solitude possessing particle effects that were not present in the same stage in the previous game.
On both systems, the storytelling is conveyed through
detailed, two - dimensional portraits rendered with Live2D, extending fluid
animation and a multiplicity of

As we encounter wild animals of Blaine County's RDR - like desert, feel thankful for the Max Payne 3 - style cover system in the heat of a getaway, or take a moment to appreciate the improved
facial animations that (though not using MotionScan) clearly owe themselves to the
detail of LA Noire, it really feels like this is the game that everything has been leading up to.
Besides the aforementioned driving controls and a weak storyline (something that has plagued pretty much every game in the franchise besides the third one, to a degree), the character models feature weird
facial animations, looking very robotic in comparison to the well -
detailed environments.
