Eco-Me makes several
detergents with fragrance, but I chose the one that has none.
Since many consumers equate scents with cleanliness, manufacturers lace
detergents with fragrances and even offer scent boosters.

Diapers that are washed properly
with residue - free
detergent won't have
fragrances, dyes, ammonia or bacteria in them... everyone wins.
On wash day, you simply wash them in your machine (alone,
with other clothes, or
with cloth diapers)
with a
detergent that is free from
fragrances and fabric softeners (which may make them less absorbent or cause them to leak).

with fighting for the health of your face, choosing a laundry

detergent is baby friendly,
with no
fragrance or added whiteners.
Regular
detergent is fine for most babies, but those
with sensitive skin might need a
detergent that's free of
fragrances and dyes.
For cloth diapers, you will want to choose a
detergent with no additives such as Brighteners, Chlorine Bleach, Enzymes, Dyes, Fabric Softeners, and
Fragrance.

You've accidentally used a
detergent with fabric softener,
fragrance, optical brighteners, or soap (such as Fels - Naptha in homemade laundry soap concoctions) and your diapers have residue lingering in the fibers.
To avoid irritation, it's generally advised to use a mild,
fragrance free, non bio washing
detergent for washing clothing, bedding & other items that come into contact
with your newborn's skin.
Also we wash
with fragrance free
detergents so we don't breathe in
fragrances.
Please avoid soaps to wash your diapers, and
detergents with ingredients such as bleach, fabric softeners, brighteners, dyes, and
fragrance.

Just remember that if you use washable pads be sure to use a gentle,
fragrance - free laundry

with «spring meadow» or «moonlight breeze» — most notably laundry
detergents and fabric softeners — rely on synthetic
fragrance.
When you use a scent - free laundry
detergent and avoid the chemical
fragrance of fabric softeners and dryer sheets, you end up
with laundry that doesn't smell like anything.
