The Network of Excellence in
Computer Science With support from the Department for Education (DfE), BCS and CAS have
developed the Network of Excellence to provide direct support and CPD for
teachers.
The challenge has mainly been to
develop teachers» subject knowledge sufficiently to feel confident teaching the new content, specifically the
computer science elements.
