develop new epistemologies or strengthen old ones.
A teacher with strong
pedagogical knowledge employs effective teaching strategies, creates well - designed lessons plans, applies successful classroom management techniques, and
develops an
understanding about student learning (Koehler & Mishra, 2008).
These resources have been called educative curriculum materials (ECMs) because of their explicit attempts to help teachers
develop better
understanding of a lesson's
pedagogical rationale (Davis & Krajcik, 2005).

understanding of the teaching and learning of mathematics.
Meaningful engagement with technology during preparation supports preservice teachers in their efforts to
