This includes working with and
developing alternate fuels like recycled uranium, mixed oxide and thorium, as well as Tier 1 contracts for the management and decommissioning of nuclear sites in the United States and Canada.

So it appears to me that we are left with the choice between two «imperfect» solutions: one that faces immense political opposition today and the other that «buys us the time» to
develop a «more perfect» solution: i.e. a technically and economically viable
alternate energy source, which does not depend on fossil
fuels.
He suggests that a more viable option is to employ another generation of fossil
fuels — during which economic conditions of humankind can be improved and
alternate solutions can be explored and
developed.
And this will be the case until an economically competitive and environmentally acceptable
alternate to fossil
fuels is
developed.
