vote as
early as Jan. 19 on the proposed
development of a $ 50 million Marriott Hotel, said Pat Curley, chief of staff
for Mayor Tom Barrett.

voted at the end of May to retain a policy in the draft city
development plan requiring the passive house standard or equivalent
for all new buildings in the city, in an
early sign that Dún Laoghaire - Rathdown's initiative could serve to inspire others.
