dialogue systems seem to aim for a Mount & Blade flare, but never actually take the shot.

Although the cultural - linguistic
system of Christians is very different from that of Buddhists, in
dialogue Christians appear to gain the ability to see some things they had not noticed before, and the same
seems to be true for Buddhists.
That said, the people I've seen chatting about it who have managed to figure out the quirks (and that's being generous)
seem to absolutely love the depth of the
dialogue and plot
systems and how variable it is depending on what you say and do.
Although it
seems BioWare may be actively involved in
dialogue related to exisiting industry
systems.
It
seems the greater nuance in the romance
system will allow for more complex interpersonal relationships with companion characters, but the simplified
dialogue system will make it easier to gauge their reactions — you'll no longer have to figure out whether you are Renegade or Paragon enough to make something work.
