diaper stash until you have a few extra accessories.

One of the most common tips in the cloth
diapering community I've read is to not buy an entire
stash of one type of
diaper until you know what works for your baby.
With hundreds of dollars invested into a cloth
diaper stash, I was terrified it wouldn't last
until potty training.
In the process of buying out first cloth
diapers, so we don't know yet, but we're planning on starting part time and hopefully moving to full time - so at first we'll be using disposables while out and about
until we get the hang of things and get a
stash going!
You can always add to your
stash, I would rather see you washing more frequently for a few days
until the extra
diapers arrive then have so many you don't ever get to the last 6 - 10
diapers (money you could have used for the next size up!)
Once you have your
stash, you are done buying
diapers until you've
diapered and potty trained at least two babies (many times more).
When you're away from home, bring a wetbag to
stash dirty
diapers in
until you get home.
