Adding 1/3 to 1/2 cup of fresh
diced tomatoes at the same time as the sauce ingredients takes it to another delicious level.
You have an option of adding
some diced tomatoes at this time, then garnish with one cilantro leaf (don't skip this step... the cilantro flavor really adds to the «yum» factor!).
I forgot the to get
the diced tomatoes at the store and I all I had with any tomato chunks was salsa, so I added a cup of mild salsa.
