That said, we now had a
big bag of kale and needed to figure out something to
do with it — and I knew exactly what that something was: Kale & Carrot
Salad a la New Seasons.

salad - 3/4 cup quinoa 1 mango, cut into 1/2 in cubes 1/4 cup roughly chopped cilantro 1 large avocado, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (note, don't cut avocado until right before use) 1 bunch kale (can sub other greens if you prefer),
big stems discarded and thinly sliced 1/4 cup toasted sunflower seeds
Anyway, as soon as the sun shines, my thoughts turn to summer foods — picnics,
salads, BBQs... and although I didn't actually cook these chickpea burgers on a BBQ, a
big fat burger stuffed with
salad and drenched in ketchup and mayonnaise is definitely enough to make me feel summery.
However,
salads don't have to be a
big disappointment, you just have to get creative, have fun,...
For those who

big chunk of garlic, you can crush the fried garlic and sprinkle it all over the

And boy am I glad I

salad looks amazing but one of my
biggest aha moments was when I realized how easy it is to make cranberry sauce — life changer!!
Although I don't love watermelon but will try this
salad as my mom is a

What I like to
do is prepare a few separate components over the weekend, which can quickly be assembled into a
big, tasty
salad on the weekdays.
This applies to electric pressure cookers more than stove - top... I think, but I use my electric pressure cooker to
do many things — in the Summer — that are not necessarily time - saving, but to keep from adding heat to the kitchen: pasta for pasta

big news; I've
done it before (Lemon - Parmesan Chickpea

While I
do love a good Panera
salad, they just aren't the finest in terms of «good for you» -LCB- but better than a
Big Mac -RCB- and making a healthier option is awesome.

I wasn't the
biggest fan of vegetables as a child, but I
do remember loving her
salad.
I don't count my carbs down to grams and percentage, but I too average two «
salads as
big as my head» a day, and I eat a lot of gluconeogenic protein and plenty of carb - containing nuts.
If someone wants to use a little EVOO with their
