All one can find is a Masala paste, a mixture of garlic, ginger and chillies, I have a lot of other spices and would prefer doing my own dry mix, it is also easy to find spices if and when I need.
fresh ginger and garlic is the best, but you can also use dry ingredients if you don't have them on hand.

To make masala or spicy almost dry paneer do pyaza you need ginger, garlic, onion, cumin powder, red chilli powder, dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi), cardamom, tomato etc..
