Just got
done making my second batch.
I did make my second batch in ring molds, and they are prettier.
Not exact matches
Just
made them, turned fantastic, although had to bake the
second batch for almost 30 mins as the first one didn't quite bake, they were a bit slushy.
The first time I
made a double
batch, the
second time I
did not.
The first
batch did not last long at all and I had to
make a
second.
I got distracted during the
second batch of caramels and ended up with hard candies that
did not
make the cut.
I used to
do one
batch of cookies at a time in the oven, but now I've invested in a
second cookie sheet so I can
make all the cookies at once.
I
made two
batches and in the first one I didn't add instant coffee, but I loved the idea, hey coffee lover over here - so the
second one was with just a little aroma of coffee, which was fantastic with a cup of homemade latte that I had yesterday afternoon.
I
did this when I

second batch a few weeks back and went to heaven.
Tried out two different recipes to
make homemade sprinkles - the first of which I saw here, the
second being a bit more of a royal icing... The first
batch [on the right] I kept very thick, and it was firm enough to set, but ended up settling as little bubble shaped dots...

The
second and third
batches I
made without the agave nectar, and I was ok with it being just a little less sweet — I let the corn
do that by itself.
I actually had leftover fresh herbs from
making the video above, so I
made a
second batch of the pesto, poured it into my silicone ice cube tray (as I show you how to
do on my Kitchen Gadgets video) and froze the pesto.
We had enough veggies leftover to
make another
batch the
second day and most definitely
did!
If I try to
make oatmeal on the stove in one large
batch so I don't have to
make breakfast twice, whoever eats
second gets cold glue for breakfast — blah!
The first or
second time I ever
made a big
batch of chili on my own, I learned that it will take for - ever to thicken up the way I like it, unless I added a bit of tomato paste (and that's a trick I learned from my Italian momma when I would help
make marinara / bolognese sauce as a kid), and as I've gotten older, too much tomato doesn't agree with me like it used to, so I also add in beef broth (and a littttle fresh lime juice) to cut the acid.
I
did a
second batch but added the tofu (about 2 oz), then
made some «thick water» with more corn starch, fennel and sage and a little syrup... as I was
making the patties, I
did 1/4 ″ patties, spooned some of the thick water on one, then put one on top, then wrapped in parchment and steamed them for about 25 minutes... this gave a satisfying squirt of «greasy» flavor in every bite and they stayed moist even after sitting for a while.
That's what I had to
do on the
second batch I
made.
I suppose I
do the same thing with guacamole (but I buy the little individual servings so the whole
batch doesn't go brown in 2.5
seconds), but someone please remind me how amazing this hummus was and how easy it is to
make the next time I go to pick up a package at the store.
Actually, I
made it twice — accidentally left the parsley out of the first
batch and didn't realize it til they were already in the oven, so I
made a
second batch with parsley.
Do you mean that you
made a
second batch using more flour, baking powder and adjusting the oven temp, or
made those changes right off the bat?
Not only
did I think they were pretty fabulous (for me to enjoy), I ended up having to
make a
second batch only a couple of days later because the whole family LOVED them.
The
second batch I didn't add any coconut oil and blended it for 20 minutes exactly (off and on with the odd scrape down but it didn't really need a scrape) and it came out just fine so I don't think I'll waste expensive coconut oil on
making butter when it comes out of shredded coconut naturally anyway.
I'm still sick of peeling peaches so a
second batch is not in the cards for me, although I'm willing to
make desserts that don't require peeling peaches.
You can assemble them all at once if there is room in your freezer for two baking sheets, or just
make one sheet full at a time, preparing the
second batch the next day (that's what I
did).
I
made a «
second»
batch from the first
batch veggies, but didn't add kavas to help start it.
