the woodwork on the bed was fantastic - it had inlays and different direction of the wood — in my opinion it needed to be sanded and «bleached» to lighten the color and still have the distressed look, but to
paint over that whole real wood is a crime:):) I
do understand u wanting to finish the project asap and not having to deal with it — but still, my heart aches for all that craftsmanship gone to waist....

Some cinnamon got onto areas that I didn't like, so I just
painted over that area, which resulted in giving the
paint a textured look, too!
The only thing I
did to prep the pumpkins was remove any long stringy pieces of hot glue that must have been originally left
over from the where the stem was glued on, and I also removed the stems to make the pumpkins easier to
paint.
I am not going to lie it
did cross my mind to just
paint over the glue but in the effort of
doing things right I reached for the goo be gone and it was no where to be found!
