Offering comfort by listening and allowing the dying to express their understanding of the Divine (God, for me) by talking of family and love is the ultimate expression, in my opinion, of what a real person of God should be like, especially at the end.

As the actual Church in fact does not fulfill it, does not advocate concrete social demands energetically enough, does not dissociate itself radically or quickly enough from dying social forms, does not stigmatize nuclear warfare profoundly enough (all this according to the opinion of these Christians, which objectively is by no means necessarily false), they experience one disappointment after another in regard to the Church, protest against it, hurt and irritated, and turn into lay defeatists.

I also think the pervasive opinion that megachurches grow by «dumbing down the gospel» is mostly the opinion of the small, dying churches in America.

You know that I am descended from the most Christian emperors of the German nation, from the Catholic kings of Spain, the Archdukes of Austria and the dukes of Burgundy... After death they left us by natural right and heritage these holy Catholic observances, to live according to them and to die according to their example... I am determined to support everything that these predecessors and I myself have kept... It is certain that a single friar errs in his opinion which is against all of Christendom and according to which all of Christianity will be and will always have been in error both in the past thousand years and even more in the present... I am absolutely determined to stake on this cause my kingdoms and seignories, my friends, my body and blood, my life and soul.

If you can force your opinion on everyone by saying that nobody knows what happens to us when we die (how do you know what other people do or do not know), then how is that any different from those that believe there is life after death preaching it to the world?

Decisions had to be made from time to time as to where or when services of the church would be held; the church needed to be told of the impending visit of an apostle, or of some prophet or teacher from abroad; a question has been raised as to the good faith of one of these visitors, and there must be some discussion of the point and a decision on it; a fellow Christian from another church is on a journey and needs hospitality; a member of the local congregation planning to visit a church abroad needs a letter of introduction to that church, which someone must be authorized to provide; a serious dispute about property rights or some other legal matter has arisen between two of the brothers and the church must name someone to help them settle the issue or must in some other way deal with it; a new local magistrate has begun to prosecute Christians for violating the law against unlicensed assembly, and consideration must be given to ways and means of meeting this crisis; charges have been brought against one of the members by another member, and these must be investigated and perhaps some disciplinary action taken; one of the members has died, and the church is called on for some special action in behalf of his family in the emergency; differences of opinion exist in the church on certain questions of morals or belief (such as marriage and divorce, or the resurrection), differences which local prophets and teachers are apparently unable to compose, and a letter must be written to the apostle — who will write this letter and what exactly will it say?

The whole thing sucks, in my opinion, because if you get a boring, well paying job, you're selling out to «the man» and giving up your dreams, slowly dying at a cubicle while life passes you by.

The easiest difficulty goes by the title of «I'm Too Young To Die» and really is the worst way to experience the game in my opinion, because it really is easy and when it comes down to DOOM, easy just isn't the way to go.
