The aerosol workshop made similar advances in evaluating the impact of
different aerosol types.
I've also mentioned already, that there are
different aerosol types.

Combined with measurements from an instrument aboard NASA's Calipso satellite — another member of the A-Train — the data from Glory's APS will allow scientists to understand how
different types of
aerosols are distributed throughout the layers of the atmosphere.
Different types of
aerosols behave differently in the atmosphere.
However, the expert indicates that it is important to bear in mind that the effects of each
type of
aerosol are
different due to their «varying composition, size and properties,» she concludes.
These uncertainties are reflected in the model simulations of
aerosol concentrations which all show similar total amounts, but have very
different partitions among the
different types.

different anthropogenic
aerosol types, for the 1750 — 2010 period.
The problem with clouds in climate models are of two
different types: the first is a microphysics / chemistry one, regarding the physics and chemistry of how a population of cloud particles interacts with
aerosol particles and evolves with time.

type models never reconstruct any lengthy past history accurately without creative and unique adjustment of
aerosol values used as a fudge factor; that is why models of widely varying sensitivities supposedly all accurately reconstruct the past (
different made - up assumed historical values used for each) but fail in future prediction, like they didn't predict how global average temperatures have been flat to declining over the past 15 years.
The goals of this regional - scale monitoring program are to characterize the means, variabilities, and trends of climate - forcing properties of
different types of
aerosols, and to understand the factors that control these properties.
Anthropogenic emissions include many
types of GHG's as well as particulates such as black carbon and sulfate
aerosols, each of which has a
different effect on the atmosphere, and a
different atmospheric lifetime.
But I suppose it is conceivable that the GISS - E2 - R land surface code generates
different aerosols for
different types of vegetation (and / or at the time of land clearance).
