If you're relatively new to acrylics, or indeed painting, this is a really good exercise to get you familiar with
different brush strokes and with creating a good range of values (lights and darks).
Not exact matches

It's best to be haphazard in the application of the paint, allowing your
brush strokes to move in many
different directions.
If you are using the Dark Wax you can achieve a much better look with it by having
brush strokes, especially when they are in
different directions and length.
