To maintain our
certification we are required to undertake further education courses which allow us to be up to date and to explore
different areas that help us support our Good Night families.

certification in specific
areas, and, in many cases, doctorate degrees.

different tests — one which assesses the candidate's knowledge of basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, and another which assesses the candidate's expertise in the content
area for which he or she is seeking

Certification is available in 25
areas structured around 16
different disciplines and six student developmental levels (early childhood, middle childhood, early and middle childhood, early adolescence, adolescence and young adulthood, early childhood through young adulthood).
Most hold qualifications in higher academic
certifications in
