I peeled all of the stickers off of it and
painted it with 2
different colors of
chalk paint.
I've also altered
different shades of grey
chalk paint by adding a teeny tiny pinch of green, turquoise, teal or beige in my
paints too, or using those as a based coat under the layered grey, to keep the grey
colors of the pieces
different.

But I don't like the idea of spending a fortune on boutique brand
chalk paints, especially when I wanted this piece to look like the
color was fading on it when I
painted it, and that required several
different «similar»
colors.
I usually want to use it just to darken the
color of the
chalk paint and achieve a
different color all together.
huh??? but the behr
paint is not latex... i looked it up on google, as we in our country have
different marks of
paint... and yes we have latex in holland hahaha... we
paint our walls with it... anyway, i mixed the carbonate mix into normal furniture
colored paint... it gives a real
chalk look untill now... wonder how it lookes tomorrow hahaha... thanks for comment... let you know what happend...
Hi Edythe — If you want to use it as a chalkboard, you can buy
chalk (board)
paint in many
different colors.
She stained the top with minwax dark walnut and then she made her own
chalk paint using three
different colors of old turquoise
paint she had on hand.
