The USB port on one of the units was loose inside so after trying 5
different, known working
cables, I could not get it to

Are you using the
cable and charger that came with device??? ZenPad 8.0 isn't compatible with 2.1 amp fast
charge assure your charger is 5 volt 1 amp output if I'd try a battery calibration app there's a few good ones on play also check your wire for shorts on USB end and USB mini micro end and your charger try with a
different device to assure it works hope it helps I know some deeper fixes REPLY or shoot me an email
Ring says you can't use a
different cable since theirs includes a special cover for the plug that keeps rain and water out of the
charging port.
You just need to buy a bulkier
charging adapter and a
different cable and you can get up to 50 percent juice in as little as 30 minutes... but we reckon Apple can go further next time.

Charging the camera is possible with a micro USB
cable, though we'd recommend using a
different cable than the one coming with the device because MGCOOL's is rather slow and often fails to connect.
