It wasn't just about the subject matter — although it's tricky to write about such a tender and intimate
time in a person's life, to tell your own story while still holding space for stories that are so
different than your own, to attempt to shepherd people well
in the liminal spaces of their faith journeys — but it was also just the
season of life with being pregnant with our fourth and then giving birth and suddenly having four tinies between the ages of 9 and newborn meant I had a lot less
time with a lot less energy (and even less sleep!)

I'm going to repeat what I said earlier... this team actively pursued a policy to undermine the relationship between the fans and the best player on this team... for all intent and purposes this is a traitorous act... so instead of spending money, which all pundits and fans agreed was necessary
in order to compete at the highest levels, this club was wasting
time and money trying to turn fans against Sanchez long before the end of the
season (the real concerted effort started around the
time that Wenger benched him for the start of the Liverpool game)... for a team that pertains to be
different, like a FAMILY, and constantly questions the tactics of it's opponents, to engage
in such a treasonous act is deplorable

in 38 EPL games!
Naturally, taking Messi to China would take football to a completely
different level
in the Far East, but at 30 years of age and as he continues to dazzle for the Catalan giants with 27 goals and 14 assists

time and games to show he can top strike for us when he first joined and Giroud was out Injured and he was less than impressive goals wise.....

3 League titles / 6 Fa cups and constant champions league last 16odd years out of 19 also but no matter what anyone says his
time as our coach has come to an end even if we win the league which
in fairness we have a great shot so going out of Europe could help us win the league for Wenger to leave on a high like fergie did... This has to be his last
season in charge along with Stan the Conman... Money needs put into this squad to get it to the next level and a
different direction because
in all honesty when we beat Bayern they just did nt take their chances like they did last night and they already had a great squad and added to it
in the summer with Costa etc... we had a real chance this year if we had brought
in more than Cech and that is Wengers fault!
Some Arsenal fans may think that these two former France under 19 stars, who helped Les Bleus to win that age group's version of the Euros back

times in our midfield last
season while the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette has been treated with universal acclaim by us Gooners.

wenegr is
in the twilight years of his arsenal career now he might or might not see out the full term of his contract, i would image he wont give up but if he do nt get a big prize this
season or next his desire might dwindle even more the board have seen what a shambles man united have gone through and the expense of failure, if they do nt get the next appointment right the board is trying to give themselves as much
time to identify a replacement and
in the correct
time unless wenger leaves at short notice, i think if he had won the c / l all thought years ago we would be looking at a
different story i think he would have left at the end if that contract as he would be at the peak of his powers and could of gone anywhere he like across europe, but he didn't win and here we are now, i respect the man for what he has done for us and english football a modern day herbert chapmen he is but even old chappy had his end of and era and wenger will have his end its just how will it play out hopefully a winner

time coz what im hearing is that the board want Arsene to be more decisive
in the transfer market
of course no team wants to lose but I can guarantee you that the reaction by the Chelski fans after today's results are nowhere near what would have occurred if we shit the bed on opening day... the difference is they have tasted EPL success on more than one occasion recently, they have won the Champions League and they have done it with 3
different managers
in the last 12 years with a similar, if not smaller, wage bill than us...
in comparison, we have been experiencing our own personal Groundhog Day with nothing to show for it but a few silvery trinkets that would barely wet the appetite of a world - class club... so it's
time for Wenger to stop gloating over our week one escape act and make some substantial moves before this window closes or I fear that things will take a horrible turn when the inevitable happens... living on a knife's edge is no way to go through a full
season of football and regardless of what side of the argument you fall on, you could feel high levels of toxicity
in the air and that was friggin week one... I would much rather someone tried their best and failed, than took half - measures and hoped for the best
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when
times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once
in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a
different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough to keep them squarely
in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately to find a way to get the best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according to planned the fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike...
in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and
season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens
in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a world - class set - up man goals need to be scored and for much of his
time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers...
in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be
in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at
season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship football back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
The former Chelsea and Manchester City forward has already spent
time in Los Angeles this
season when he was rehabilitating from a thigh injury that caused him to miss five months of the campaign after being injured on international duty

Every team
in the world changes the management to inject fresh ideas and keep up with the
times but at Arsenal it is the same thing every
season but expecting
different results.
Selling him abroad this
season to me will be one of Wenger's best and most brave decisions ever. He'll get my respect tor that.Who says we can't win the league with another player
in his position?Have faith for all is not lost. The Van Persie case ws very
different since at that
time we were not financially strong and couldn't replace having to settle for second rate players except Cazorla at that
time.
In this case we can actually replace him.I can still see Arsenal getting Lemar because we still have a lot of money for transfers. If we can't get Lemar we should try other options for there's always better.

Arsenal beat Brighton 2 - 0 at the Emirates earlier

While the heralded quarterback prospects
in this year's draft faced similar pressures over the course of the 2017
season — prime -
time games against marquee opponents, an intense spotlight, minute criticisms — Darnold had a
different kind of obstacle ahead of him on this fall afternoon.
Am never one to excuse our continuous failings and Wenger's general ineptitude but all this talk of Afobe been another one we missed out on is a bit preposterous and very very premature... yes he's scored a few goals for Bournemouth but can we all take a step bck and recognise that playing for a team who will be happy just to avoid relegation is very
different from playing for a club which demands trophies and high achievements every
season (yea, I know we have been found wanting on these fronts for a long
time)... some players are better
in small clubs with limited expectations and very neat to no pressure... that is why history is littered with stories of good players who went to big clubs and flopped only to go down a few levels and find their form again....
There are still big doubts
in my mind about next
season being any better or even any
different if the Frenchman stays
in charge, because we have had to suffer the same old story of unfulfilled promise
time and
time again, with certain questions coming up year
in and year out, but three things recently have at least given some hope that Arsenal could be taken forward by the current boss.
While Horford tore his left pectoral muscle early
in the 2011 - 12
season only to return later
in the year, he says it's
different this
time:
Next
season, we will probably see the Same chief
in charge but with
different ingredients and I reckon that the new assistant manager (who ever comes
in) will be the one who replaces Wenger when he steps down
in two years
Time.??
This man completely lost it, winning to Lincoln and he calls it road to recovery selling the story that he is now focused on regaining the winning habit
in the PL, this old fool is completely delusional, here are some facts: 1 He lost it 2 The old fool will be the Manager next year 3 Sanchez is leaving 4 What makes it
different from other
seasons he lost the dressing room 5 We wont win the FA Cup, its crunch
time playing against the big boys But what bugs me the most is that he still has support from Fans who are the ones actually brainwashed by him and the board making them believe that bthis is the normal, fight for 4th and exit on the round of 16th..........
Though this
season seemed like a marked change
in the tides, where the Jets finished second only to the Presidents Trophy - winning Nashville Predators, last night still felt
different, like a massive shift
in a hopeful direction that this city hasn't seen
in a long
time.
As usual Jon you make some good points but with all respect to Leeds, Villa and Forest, no way would Spurs spend the amount of
time in the lower leagues [just one year] that those three have spent recently and I'm sure you remember that great Spurs side
in their double year dropping their first point after 14 games to Man City and suffering their first defeat to Sheffield Wednesday by the odd goal
in three on Boxing day and almost beating our 66 point record [2 points a win
in those days] which stood from the glorious thirties thanks to a shock home defeat on the last day of the
season by West Brom with their frightening forward line of Jones, White, Smith, Allen, and Dyson and to make things worse the following year the signing of Jimmy Greaves, and don't let anybody tell
different without doubt the greatest striker the English game as ever seen.
I really like Lacazette and think he's a fantastic addition to the team, but every
time in the last 10 + years when Arsenal have looked
in the ascendancy, Wenger has managed to spoil it somehow, and I don't expect this
season to be any
different.

different story for Watford, who were the better team until Vokes» equaliser, as they lost for a third
time in four matches, and though still nine points above the relegation zone they should not encounter any late -

Lorenzo Pellegrini is no stranger to life
in Serie A, having played two
seasons of more or less full
time duty with Sassuolo, but yesterday's 3 - 0 thrashing of Verona was his first start for Roma, which is obviously a bird of a
different feather for a multitude of reasons.
I was critical at
times last
season, but this is a
different Defour entirely and his performance yesterday stood alongside any I've seen from a Burnley player

«The reason why he was so important and difficult to get is what he did
in the Premier League because obviously there are other good strikers
in football but the Premier League is a very specific habitat, a
different habitat, normally they need some
time to adapt and Lukaku plays
in Premier League for the last four or five
seasons,» Mourinho told reporters.
