Here are some of the most common ways that you get
traffic from
different sources.
The problem with mashing up these data
sources are that the location accuracy for the various components is radically
different: crime records are accurate to the nearest address, weather / census is at best zip code, social media is by IP address and hence is literally multiple miles inaccurate, and
traffic is generally major thoroughfares / block level.
