We did confirm that because we tried
different diaper disposal
bag brands and they all worked like a charm but it is a bit tricky to use an ordinary
trash bag because it falls inside the pail if not mounted properly.

We used to buy
different dry foods (5 & 10 lb
bags) that were on sale and mix it / stir it up in a outdoor
trash can that had a top / lid that was used only for their food.
I decided that the best way to go about storing the
trash in my backpack for two weeks was to separate week one and week two into two
different sandwich sized Ziploc
bags (Christmas themed from last year).
