In you gnome arsenal you have 4
different upgradeable units each with different powers and ranges: the warrior who has high physical damage but low range, the ranger who has long range and can attack flying enemies, the fire mage who has low attack power but can attack multiple enemies at once, and the ice mage whose attacks slow enemies.
With over 20 wildly
different upgradeable weapons to discover, you can mix up your play style and take the fight to the enemy however you like.
Each class also has different stats and access to
different upgradeable abilities.

upgradeable on a step - by - step basis as gems can be collected and integrated into a weapon such as a sword to offer bonuses when equipped into
different category slots within that weapon including potency, vitality and wealth in which there are 5 slots per category that gradually improves the efficiency in each area of the weapon as more slots are covered by gems, while 3 gems of the same quality can be combined to create one gem of higher quality.
Stealth kills and the varied level designs mesh well with the
different weapon types that are
upgradeable and unlockable.
Unlike some twin - stick shooters that feature
different kinds of weapons, Score Rush Extended features just one mode of fire, although it's
upgradeable to pretty insane levels that results in what feels like hundreds of laser blasts being spat out every second.
It's a vastly
different story on iOS, of course, where that platform is over-saturated with examples of tower defence games, and indeed, which has served as something of an evolution chamber for it, with various features like hero units and
upgradeable towers added over the years to the basic «plant down some towers to defend against waves of enemies» template.
