Entry level
difficulty settings are far too high,
load times are far too long, and casual
gamers enticed in by the Texas Rattlesnake will find 2K16's method of gameplay incredibly frustrating.
To unlock Newgame +, all you have to do is beat the
game, and then after you save and
load your
game, you keep all your items, levels, and gold, and play the
game again, but on a higher
difficulty where enemies levels are +30 and the items continue to get better

game is
loaded with content, has some pretty gorgeous graphics, contains
loads of replay value, has some of the best 3DS music out there, has a great
difficulty curve, and the controls are actually best fit for the gameplay (though whoever decided it would be a good idea to omit dual - analog while allowing you to aim with the GODDAMN FACE BUTTONS needs to be bitchslapped).
Despite
load times being reduced so much so that you're no longer able to practice combo's between chapters, like you could in old versions of the
game, you'll meet with enough enemies at both ends of the
difficulty spectrum, that you'll quickly find your own way of ending battles.
The
difficulty level is set too low, but even if you rush through the
game, there is still
loads to explore afterwards.
This preserves the
game's
difficulty (players can't save and
load to get the stars more easily) and it also means the player can turn the
game off at any time, knowing that the only important progress (collecting stars) has been saved.
