If you're a long - time fan of the series you should still have a lot of fun with this
game, but if you're getting into it for the first time you may be surprised by the lack of things to do as well as the

mode that removes your HUD and ramps up the
difficulty, making ammo, weapons and filters much scarcer.

game looks nice when playing on TV, but I did have some
difficulty distinguishing between safe areas and pits
in early stages when I played
in handheld

I thought the entire point
in playing higher
difficulty modes was for the
game to get more challenging; if anything this is making it even easier.
At times the
game is devilishly difficult, but with three
difficulties (easy, medium and hard)
in Quest
mode and several other
difficulties in the Arcade
mode, players can adjust the
game to suit their
difficulty levels, although to unlock harder
difficulty settings
in Quest
mode you must play through every single one of the 100 levels
in the
game.
Replayability stems from a progressively unfolding story told throughout 18 chapters
in which almost 100 Digimon battle it out, level up and evolve, while there is also a New
Game +
mode for players to experience the story
in a different way, alongside two
difficulty levels and player vs. player online and ad - hoc battles that will collectively have players returning for many hours worth of Digimon storytelling, training and battles.
