(I think our only complaint is directed at each other, since both my husband and I have a habit of setting
dirty diapers on the bathroom sink while we get the baby dressed and situated someplace else... and then completely forget to

on her potty chair when she feels the urge to
go.
My son was not potty trained until he was almost 4 years old.He was a very active boy, and it seemed that he just didn't want to take the time to
go to the bathroom / potty when he could just
go in his
diaper and keep
on playing.I did spend time putting him
on his potty chair, and eventually the toilet but he would never
go, yet as soon as a
diaper was
on, he's
dirty it.And I felt like a horribly mean mother for making him sit there for so long.So, I decided to just let him do it when he wanted to.
We've been able to change
diapers on the
go and take the
dirty diapers with us in the wet - dry bag!

on him, make sure he's bundled and change his
diaper My question is this: 1) Will I disrupt him changing his
diaper because i know regardless he is always

In fact, many of these

dirty that you probably don't want your
diaper bag to touch them.
You can hang it
on a hook, the changing table, or a doorknob, and the bag just
goes in the wash with the
dirty diapers.
I have to admit, I miss it, especially when I see things about the Great Cloth
Diaper Change or
Dirty Diaper Laundry's Flats and Handwashing Challenge
going on.
I would say just talk to them about the potty read up
on babycenter about the different things to help the process along because even if they are not talking that much they still may give off many non verbal clues of having to
go potty.However if they are really not ready try potty training keep a onesie
on in the day time with their clothing and a blanket sleeper
on at night that way they hopefully won't be able to get to the
dirty diaper before you.My dd is 19 months as well and I have been training her sort of by letting her sit
on the potty I have only let her use the one that
goes on the big toilet but she peed in it once and she often will say she has to pee when in the bathroom but will sit and not do anything and get little pieces of tissue off the roll and push it into toilet this is her renditon of wiping even though the tissue does not really come in contact with any areas that need to be wiped I have slacked off
on the training because she can not pull her pants up and down which is
on the list of things kids need to be able to do to
go by themseleves.Maybe just get them a few books and videos and a potty chair and talk to your dd's and see what happens you may be surpised.HTH
