Well... I was terribly
disappointed in the «Clone factor» of the
recipe, however, it was tasty... I'll give it that
at least.
I am really into chewy texture, and
at times when I have craved chewy brownies I have been
disappointed that many brownie
recipes are very soft and muddy (which
at times is DELICIOUS too, but not ALWAYS what I want).
I have been experimenting with dozens of different granola bar
recipes lately, but am quite
disappointed at the results of a lot of them.
I'm in culinary school to be a pastry chef, and after one student made a
disappointing black bread from Hamelman's «Bread» book (admittedly a stellar bread book, but a totally lackluster black bread
recipe) I whipped this up
at home and brought in samples.
