In February 2013 the W3C — the web
standards organization — held a two - day summit in New York in concert with the Book Industry Study Group and the International Digital Publishing Forum entitled «
Ebooks: Great Expectations for Web
Standards,» intended to
discuss how open web
standards such as HTML5, CSS3, SVG, XML, and RDF could be further integrated into
ebook production.
