This activity asks students to come up with key words from the
lesson and then use the letter
points system
in Scrabble to work out how much each word is worth promoting
discussion and comparison with an edge of competition included if you can see who has got the word with the highest
points score.
Seeing the benefits of project - based learning and cooperative
lessons that encourage teamwork and shared perspectives, teachers more and more are finding ways to engage students
in the
discussion of learning at every
point of the process.
In particular, purposeful decisions were made to include whole group and small group
discussions at various
points during the online
lessons.
The use of pronouns often seeps into the
lessons in a number of different aspects: Subject pronouns are discussed when forming and conjugating sentences
in the various tenses, object pronouns are introduced through questions words such as «who» or by a
discussion of transitive and intransitive verbs, possessive pronouns and adjectives also get thrown into the mix by discussing the question word «whose», or when
pointing out how the possessive adjective modifies the noun.

points out
in his
discussion of the French Academy
in the 17th and 18th centuries, the transmission of the artistic profession from father to son was considered a matter of course (as it was with the Coypels, the Coustous, the Van Loos, etc); indeed, sons of academicians were exempted from the customary fees for
lessons.8 Despite the noteworthy and dramatically satisfying cases of the great father - rejecting révoltés of the 19th century, one might be forced to admit that a large proportion of artists, great and not - so - great,
in the days when it was normal for sons to follow
in their fathers» footsteps, had artist fathers.
