An art review on Friday about an exhibition at the George Adams Gallery in Manhattan referred incorrectly to some of the portraits by Alfred Leslie on display.

On display at Maddox Gallery will be new work from the artist's pop art inspired bubble gum series, which features iconic images of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and The Beatles, playfully reimagined blowing bubble gum.

For the past two decades Steinkamp's hypnotic 3 - D animations — of trees, rocks, abstract shapes, even pearl strands — have typically added layers of cheer to spaces as disparate as Las Vegas's Fremont Street Experience to the rotunda at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. (which will reinstall her Loop projection, last displayed in 2000, this March).

The winning artworks will be on display at Jerwood Space, London from 16 September — 25 October 2015, followed by a tour to venues across the UK, including Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum: The Wilson (21 November 2015 — 31 January 2016), Sidney Cooper Gallery, Canterbury (11 February — 9 April 2016), and Falmouth Art Gallery (23 April — 25 June 2016).

Or at least, visceral paintings of them will go on display at Dulwich Picture Gallery in «Ribera: Art of Violence», one of the exhibitions I'm most looking forward to — if that doesn't sound too odd — in 2018 (26 September 2018 — 27 January 2019).

The artists participating at the Grundy Art Gallery are Allison Katz, who displays a trilogy of works comprising painting, sculpture and print; Amy Stephens, whose practice centres on reclaiming objects and images from the native landscape; Ruth Beale with new large - scale works on paper, drawing on the British tradition of satire to critique current events; and Rebecca Birch, who brings an interactive installation investigating the politics of surface.

Known for their pioneering work with various synthetic resins and synthetic polymers during the 1960s and «70s, these artists are today recognized not only for their active roles in the development of plastics as a newly discovered medium in art, but also for their sophisticated techniques and at times even quasi-acrobatic prowess required to shape them into the seamless, translucent, luscious volumes: some impressive examples of these artistic exploits will be on display at Almine Rech Gallery.
