Educators should be fostering this
type of environment by posing interesting problems and asking lots
of questions, encouraging students to ask lots
of questions and pose their own problems and then allowing time and space for
divergent and flexible
thinking.
So while I admire the sentiment
of wanting to bridge that gap and integrate wildly
divergent types of players, the cynic in me
thinks there is a lot more involved in actually accomplishing this than simply believing in the whole «if you build it, they will come» mantra.
