Add the percentages of
custodial time for all three children together and
divide by the number of children (50 % plus 50 % plus 30 % = 130 %
divided by three children = 43.33 % average percentage of
time with Mother).
One spouse (usually the
custodial parent) remains in the home with the exclusive use and possession for a certain period of
time (for example, until the youngest child graduates from high school), then either buys out the other spouse or sells the home and
divides the proceeds.
