In the new metaphysics that developed as the Church wrestled with the revelation of God's character in Scripture, the communion of
divine Persons came to be understood as a «primordial ontological concept and not a notion which is added to the divine substance or rather which follows it.»

I know that I see elements of
divine around me in things and in ways that others don't, including other religious
people... And as long as different religions and even sects constantly argue about what god truly is, and as long as they
come up with different asnwers, then I have to say that the spiritual elements of our universe simply manifest differently for different folks, including not at all for some... as with those who label themselves as athiest...
I gradually began to see that Christianity is not about solitary seekers after truth who just get together once in a while for a chat: other
people are very much part of the
divine scheme of things — even scripture has
come down to us through the agency of other
people.
Wonder and awe before the majesty of the Creator, answering a high call to service, being transformed by a Power greater than our own, being aware of a Presence in whose fellowship we find our strength, being reinforced by the
divine help so that we triumph over trouble, opening our lives to inspired hours when the best seems the most real — all these are responses to revelations of reality above and beyond ourselves, but nowhere is such revelation so compelling as when it
comes incarnate in a

comes through the equipment of a
person with the talents necessary for the exercise of the office and through the
divine guidance of his life by all its circumstances; (4) the ecclesiastical call, that is, the summons and invitation extended to a man by some community or institution of the Church to engage in the work of the ministry.
Hence, if we situate the call of Abraham, as well as other special revelatory moments of the history of religion, within the wider context of cosmic evolution, this may help soften the «scandal of particularity» associated with any unique or distinctive summoning by God of a particular
people to bear witness in a novel way to the
divine promise and mystery that
come to expression first in the very creation of the world.
During Advent we remember that the One sent by the
divine sender defied his
people's expectations when he
came poor, humble and lying in a manger.
As the Good Book has warned, there will
come an age when
people just will themselves choose confusion more than what is right and morally just to preserve their sinful ways instead of seeking the One they need to perfect them as a human
person with dignity as a
divine image of noble and holy existence, instead do de - basing themselves out of a healthy and happier existence even on earth.
