i know i watched her turn into someone that i did nt even know.so now, all i have to choose from in my age group is the same thing i divorced.and in
divorces 9 times out of 10, the
women ends up financially better off, and bragg about how independent they are.LMAO, ofcoarse, u got the house, the kidz, the 401 k, child support, alimony the vehicles etc. need i say more.if they arent crazy when you get with them, they will be when they hit
midlife.
Or maybe some men just don't want to be alone while many
midlife divorced women want to have an Eat, Pray, Love experience and rediscover and reinvent themselves, without having to take care of anyone other than themselves.
And then there are older
women who are happily dating or in relationships — according to an AARP study, most
divorced women in
midlife do find someone new — 75 percent of
women in their 50s reported enjoying serious, exclusive relationships after their
divorces, often within two years, compared with 81 percent of men in their 50s (although more older men tend to marry again than older
women).

I didn't really understand the impact of monogamy on
women until I
divorced at
midlife, when I already had fulfilled certain womanly roles, like being a wife and mom.

When I
divorced at
midlife, my mother and I began to have conversations we'd never had before — not just mother to daughter, but
woman to
woman, wife to wife, mother to mother.
But, that was decades ago, and some stuff has happened since then — a
divorce, years as a more - confident young single
woman, a second marriage, another
divorce, being single with kids in my late 40s, having a few committed relationships at
midlife and finding myself single again at an age that feels, well probably is, old.

women and men in
midlife is how busy their lives are, they've come through a
divorce and have found themselves again, they've got into a rhythm, have a new found freedom and are really enjoying their own company.

divorce announcement at age 48, turned her search for her next mate into an adventure.
Divorce is painful and often harder for
women who experience it
midlife.
