Sonic Forces is not a bad game; those of you who do really enjoy the gameplay mechanics of Generations or Colors, you'll be in for a treat.

sonics shape and eye color do not make the game more or less fun.
I for one don't care if they are using new - school or old - school character design (for real, ya are crying about the color of Sonic eyes, or the name of Robotnik and Eggman?).
However the meat of the game lies in Modern Sonic and the Avatar who uses Wispons, or Wisps returning from Sonic Colors, Generations and Lost World, but weaponized so that everyone not Sonic can use them; the primary reason Sonic doesn't return to that gameplay style anymore in my opinion.
