Your recipes have changed my life for the better and I'd love to
do a cooking course to help make this a full time healthy way of eating.

A few years ago
I did a cooking course, and I really recommend it.

It
does believe in gourmet five -
course dinners, upscale
cooking classes and — gasp — making money.
Of
course we
did not have enough food for 15,000, but each morning I woke up, I prayed, and I started
cooking rice.
Hey Erica no of
course that's a legitimate question — I don't put grapes in smoothies as much as other fruits simply because they're not as nutritionally dense and I just tend to mostly
cook with the fruits which I love the taste of — but that the great thing about the recipes, and especially smoothies, you can use it as a guide to add things you have in the fridge or whatever so I'm so glad you're adding different things!
Of
course Maurizio and Luisa can rely on hired help, but not only
do they
cook, they also take pride in serving their plates.
We
did a Thai
cooking course in London, but we learnt to make it with fish sauce.
Of
course, you could also use dried beans and
cook them in large batches (something I really want to get into the habit of
doing more), but to save time, I often find myself grabbing for a can of organic beans.
Note:
Cooking Light's original recipe said to
do this in a microwave on high for 20 minutes (minus the aluminum foil, of
course).
Since S doesn't care for
cooked fruit, I'll be eating this whole thing myself over the
course of a day or two — but that's ok, since it's mostly fruit and nuts, healthy things.
If you don't have a mini muffin pan, you can of
course put these in a regular muffin tin, you'll just have to increase the
cooking time.
When we were in Thailand, Dave planned a
cooking course for us (more on that when I
do my text Thai round - up) and this is one of the meals the teacher had planned for us to learn, as it is one of my favourites.
Of
course as with many impromptu
cooking efforts I realized that I didn't have all the ingredients, namely, 1.)

course, if you don't want to wait for it to
cook (it
does take a bit longer) or can't find it, quinoa is usually my second choice for a grain!

did in the original recipe.

course their are the nights that turn in to a week where I don't feel like
cooking and I eat a bowl of cereal for dinner.
The recipe
does call for bacon (pastured and preservative - free, of
course), but if you don't
do bacon, feel free to leave it out and
cook the Brussels sprouts in 2 tablespoons of olive oil instead.
Eventually flipped it out of the pan and put it on a cookie sheet to try and get it
cooked, but of
course it kind of fell apart in
doing that.
Cooking for 6 and using this as the main (and only)
course, I: - used brown rice - upped the rice to 1.5 cups - kept the beans the same (another half can would have worked as well and I kinda wish I had
done that)-2 jalapenos - chipotle chile powder instead of regular - used 2.75 tsp salt.
I am of
course still trying to
cook as much as possible, and with the cooler temperatures we've been having am looking forward to
doing some baking soon!
In baking, of
course the measurements are quite scientific, but the time of the
cook really
does vary.
The pancakes were of
course delicious, although they
do take a bit longer to
cook than non-vegan pancake, but well worth the wait!
Of
course once you start
cooking and putting ingredients together in a pot things don't always go as you imagined.
Of
course you could also
cook the mushrooms and veggies on the grill if you don't feel like turning on your oven.
Of
course, there are the classics — Moosewood and Chez Panisse — but so
did cookbooks I admit I'd never heard of, like Salad for Dinner, Jenny Rosenstrach's favorite for weeknight family
cooking.
Many times I watch my husband eating a huge bowl of baby carrots and I just think: «How he can
do that!!??» I really admire a person who likes to eat raw veggies because of
course, they have more nutrients than
cooked ones.
One thing I personally love about
cooking is that it allows me to use my imagination, now I want to invite you to
do the same, of
course with a little inspiration.

cooking since I've been here, but so have my parents.
My daughter is grown now, of

It was Cheryl's idea to organize a Shabbat meal with the students, where they
do all the
cooking and preparations themselves (with a little help from us, of
