do change with the seasons, (well in some cases) Here are my favorite current paint colors.

So what is a reasonably savvy investor to

For those who didn't see the first time around, my Rock Songbook began
with four epic posts on what may be the greatest 60s album, Odessey and Oracle, especially concentrating on the hit «Time of the
Season,» but also taking in the glorious «
Changes,» the ambivalent «Friends of Mine,» and then settin» down for some Platonic analysis of why it's hard to convey wisdom in rock - song, even for a group as great as the Zombies.

What I'm learning this year is that sometimes the
season in life doesn't quite line up
with the
season in the air, that
seasons can arrive before we're ready — carried as if by a sudden storm, a
change in barometric pressure, a surprise frost.
But really, if that sacrifice doesn't
change you in some way, if you don't carry that
with you the rest of the year and into the next Lent

Made this yesterday
with a few
changes: I don't eat ham so I left that out; I didn't have Sherry Vinegar on hand so left that out; I had some of the

In some sense, the buck
does have to end
with the manager, but It would be naive to concentrate on what we can not
change however, and we must look at where we must improve to overtake the leading pair next
season.
Giroud misses more than he hits, Walcott has NEVER delivered his expected talent, Welbeck will NEVER be the striker to score 20 goals a
season Coqellin will NOT go a whole
season injury or suspension free, Sanchez and Ozil WILL have down period during the
season, all teams have these problems to a greater or lesser degree but most of the top teams will address these problems and players either inprove or are sold and replaced
with better or at least more consistant players, NOT Wenger he keeps
doing the same thing over and over
with the same players and he expects a different result but gets the same outvome time and time again, yet its ALWAYS someone else's fault be it the Ref or the linesman or the opposition or bad luck or whatever and whoever and its NEVER the fact that HE has
done nothing to
change the situation and LOOKS LIKELY to not
change it next time around.
I support Wenger but not because I am a «fanboy» but because I believe in his values, I disagree
with a lot he has
done, and maybe he should leave the club to pave way for fresh ideas, but the point I was trying to make is that we can still turn this
season into something we can be proud of, if we don't then come June I expect that we will (respectively) call for
change and it will be our duty to make the board listen, but June is still a half a
season away.
He is not what we need, we have started
with Alexis and Walcot at the beginning of the
season, they
did very well both scoring goals but suddenly, we
changed the lineup because OG scored goals when brought in as substitute.
Wenger said at the start of the
season that this is one of the best squads he has managed... look at the table, look at the results (shamed), and look at our performances... wenger is gulty for this, and the suporters in england habe to grow up their voices... its impossible that people were demanding for chenges and the board and wenger were taking a laugh of you and continuing
with their reign... its unacceptable that those guya even care about us fans and you are capable to look to anotger side and bought alll that sh about «a great
change on the squad and a promised new wenger, its bs... wenger has to go and for that you england arsenal fans have to grow up some balls and
do ur job... what was that bellerin episode?
We all know that Arsene Wenger likes to plan for the future, and even though his current contract
with Arsenal is due to run out at the end of next
season I
do not expect that to
change.
Of course winning the Champions League would make it a successful
season, but it doesn't
change anything in regards
with Wenger... he still has to go.
If we start this
season with those two in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has
changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one of these players should still be
with our club at this point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this team for a number of years... this is what I call the «no man's land» of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead of developing a team
with the qualities necessary to excel in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a team who plays players out of position so often... of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work for a team of any consequence ever again
if wenger really loves the club despite how this
season goes he should just walk away and pass the mantle to someone else,
doing the same stuff every
season and expecting different results is just insanity, tonight our best hope is a london derby draw or a spurs win coz catching up
with spurs is easier than chelsea, i love this club so much but something has to
change at the end of the
season, gooner for life and the next
However, much as I have been frustrated
with Wenger and our team over the last few years lets be positive and hope that this coming
season our new players
change improve us and Wenger himself gets back to what he was able to
do 15 yers ago.
And if you are satisfied
with one FA cup every ten years then there really is no argument that can
change your mind, if fourth place is good enough year after year, and Flamini and Arteta at Dm is satisfactory and starting the
season with 2 Senior team CBs is understandable then all I can
do is think of you in the same way that i think of all fanatics — men without reason.
Change perhaps seems likely at Chelsea this summer anyway, though they could

Now it's up to the majority of the fans,
do you want to spread the negativity until big
changes occur or
do you want to keep supporting Arsenal players to fight
with their heart in this
season?
Gwin its simple his bosses are not pleased
with him this
season and if he fails next
season his sacked, other clubs are not like arsenal you don't get time on top and yes they will spend probably around 300M, City needs to
change more players then Arsenal in the near future and as we all know new players need to settle and some fail, that's why they are trying to steal EPL players who already conditioned, if they fail to attract the likes of Sanchez and some spud players he could have problems next
season,
Probably don't want to
change what they
did with Kinkaid in net 2nd half of the
season.
something new for sure will happen at the very least we will be getting new players the question being who...... a striker
with 30 goals abomyang a central defender a midfielder new maneger who diago simone will
do well
with atlatico or lazio he is connected to them arsenal needs some one within its ranks some one connected to them But today we seen an ugly encounter were certain players should have had the red i think technology should come in to it and players should be disciplined after The premier league is a physical strong competition to win it you got to be very strong very accurate and very demanding and if you
do not have the team to
do it you
do not win our team didn't live to exceptions of last
season so there for
changes will have to happen

with them our team need us now more then ever let's get them threw this bad patch and cheer them on and worry about wenger at the end of the
season we support this club ffs start acting like it we love u arsenal COYG
I tell you from a footballing point of view scoring 8 goals you got have players that know where the goal posts are it takes energy and creativity to score 8 yes I agree vikings
changed their players because their league is starting i think tomorrow so yes they were not a big team team but to say that Arsenal were not strong thats a bit to much and I say it again you need energy and creativity to score 8 I was very happy they
did that Arsenal are well known for creating chances yesterday they converted them chances into Goals this should be the norm and I hope this will give them a lesson on how to win a game as they
did nt dwell about
with the ball it was goal after goal and that tells me that they went for the goals directly and I hope and wish the young guns all the best and to
do well in the next
season
hehe well u r the one who is delusional talking about arsenal is in ur bloods well for us arsenal is our blood.whats this
with wenger support if its top four that u guys value so much and hve made it more appealing than a epl title wow shame on of all us see what we hve turned aarsenal into.THIS IS ARSENAL.the moment someone becomes bigger than a club then no way are things okay.ill end
with asking my question which has not been answered yet...
do u believe wenger will win title
with arsenal nxt yeat (epl),
do u believe we will be among the strong contenders for the title untill the end when it matters most???? wenger is a smart guy he knows nxt
season automatic arsenal will be struggling even for fourth so that is our target and its a shame we fans r ready to waste another year.I am
done with this saga we will find out soon enough and I hope and pray we don't regret giving this so called legend another chance coz I hve screamed, cried, and pple dare call pple who want
change not arsenal fans or not die hards.cheers guys seems top four is safe our annual top fourbparade is in place
It is only a fool of the highest order that
does one thing all the time and expect a different result...
With the way thing are going, Arsenal FC will be lucky to make top4 this
season except if Wenger is replaced, because i can't see a fool like him
changing his useless ways.
Injuries indeed a factor, but then again that is every
season (should take a look at that) but we CONSISTENTLY fail specially this
season, because our Manager
does not innovate, adapt,
change strategies when he needs to... we have a team that could beat the Top 4 other teams
with lesser quality
do it why shouldn't we??
I remember that 91 team well i had just graduated high school that year.In the 90
season i saw they
changed to black uniforms i was like that's my team.I was like i got to have one of those black jerseys and i went to the mall right after xmas in 90 and what
do i find a number 21 black jersey sitting on the clearence rack
with a host of other teams jerseys that was the only Falcons one left.So i bought it and wore that at school the next week and i told people this is my team win lose or draw. That 91 team was exciting to watch and that's how it all started for me being a fan of this team.
If he
does blow this title chance up then fans need to ditch last few games of the
season and demand a
change from the board and management
with a few banners and stand offs as they wont sack him or get rid if ShadyStealinStan.
this
season was supposed to be about the epl not fourth place.just seeing how empty the Emirates was yesterday I expect it to be even worse in the upcoming games.wenger blew it in the transfer market, I think that in itself shows how we lacked ambition and we settled for a top four from the beginning and if by a chance we managed to win epl then thats it.lossing some games, crucial points and the feedback we got back was just covering the real goals of the club top four.soton home (a team challenging has to win this game), Crystal palace, swansea, just add those points and see where we could and should hve been.everyone here is a die hard arsenal fan whether an akb or aob but fact remains we love the club, we want the club to move forward, we want the club to be a superhouse, its got nothing to
do with wengers last year or his last chance of epl.this sort of thinking is running our beloved club to the ground.whether u like it or not a
change is needed and a serious one.at the moment we hve so many bogey teams
do u think arsene will beat them nxt
season!!!
Awesome Piece... I concur
with everything it has outlined... Wenger being furious (
with who in particular I still can't understand) doesn't
change the fact that he got what he bargained for when he refused to attend to the obvious efficiency of the team before the
season started
With Arsene Wenger returning for another
season, I don't see much
changing in terms of the team mentality, and they'll have to get out to a good start to keep up.
is this the Wenger i know you have
changed very much sir.I just want Wenger to
do the right thing about this team and maybe possibly
with luck we can have a good
season but he hardly
does the right thing
does he?It is a real shame because if things go on like then i think we are going to suffer the same fate.
Law was part of the process which brought the duo to the club in recent
seasons, and has
done plenty for us in his eight - year stint
with Arsenal, but his work has failed to bring us any closer to a first Premier League title since 2004, and we must now hope that his replacement has the power to make some big
changes to our current operations.
@Nothing
Changed i agree about 5 years ago, personally i'm finding our game exiting to watch
with a strong belief that no mater what the score is we will win the game, obviously we don't win every game but the belief is there for me and i'm enjoying watching more then last
season, we have to except that some teams in Europe are almost impossible to catch and City is coming close to that point of dominating years to come and only Man - U or Chelsea could muster up a small challenge, sad but unfortunately we have to face up to reality.
In recent times, he has come up
with changes that have arguably worked e.g. converting Sanchez into top 9 last
season (he had his most prolific
season and now Pep is looking for him now that someone else has unearthed a lot more potentials in Sanchez which he (Pep) couldn't
do at Barca).
Quite honestly, I
do agree that Arsene Wenger has lost it a little bit and I
do agree that the club could
do with some new ideas and possibly a new philosophy, but the reality of the situation is that there will be no
change at least until the end of the
season.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we
did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I
do worry that he regressed last
season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off -
season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he
does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he
did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last
season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played
with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent
with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the
season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all
change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
