I was trying to
do church planting there and came across a lot of injustice, so I found myself having to do advocacy on an individual basis.
Isn't that when an established church wants to
do a church plant?
After 2 years or so of sales, I gradually started doing some «preaching» some helping churches and ultimately went back to the church I left to
do the church plant thing.
Also, my wife and I are seriously considering
doing a church plant.

did a church plant that was something of an experiment to see what would happen if we let go of traditional lines of church thought and practice.

There were many evil things

church, but we ARE the
church by loving the people around us whom God brings into our lives.

does things in a way I've never seen, and so attracts people who would never worship God together.

They don't know the details of some of the the interpersonal dynamics that make it difficult to return to the local
church — not to mention the discouragement and exhaustion that follows a failed

He doesn't actually
plant churches; he trains people to
plant house
churches.
I think my answer to this person would be the same to the person who says that mega-churches are superior... being a missionary doesn't glorify God... being part of or
planting a mega
church doesn't glorify God.
This pastor felt very strongly that the sermons, and even Sunday morning, weren't what defined the
church he had
planted, but rather it was the act of «
doing» work «together.»
I am graduating in two weeks and hope to be
planting a
church very similar to what you are
doing there in Florida.
