Do the coconut flakes soften?
First,
do the coconut flakes melt into the soapbase or do they go down the drain (concerned about clogging the plumbing)?
Not only
do their coconut flakes come in a conveniently portioned bag (about 4 cups total), but the also aren't super large which makes them perfect for making into butter.
Not only
did the coconut flakes add a bit of crunch to the cookies, but the the fact that the coconut was toasted really made the cookies different.

I used quinoa
flakes as I didn't have any quinoa flour and I didn't have any
coconut oil (I ran out 2 nights before due to a intense
coconut oil hair treatment:P) so I just ended up leaving the oil out all together and made it an oil - free version!

For an easy way to make your own crispy tofu at home, simply

Scrounging around my kitchen (as one
does at 9 pm when they decide to bake), I gathered up bananas,
coconut flakes and chocolate chips.
To complement the

I wonder if it would work if I substituted chopped pecans or maybe almonds instead of the
flaked coconut, since my wife doesn't care for the texture of

coconut flour so I thought if I grinded up my own
coconut flakes it would work.
The toasted

Alyssa, This morning I made my current favorite breakfast oatmeal with 50 % quinoa
flakes and 50 % quick oats (I added canned pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and topped with bananas and pecans)-- It turned out great in the microwave — I didn't have any
coconut flour - plan to get some soon — but just with the added quinoa it is now lunch time and I am still not hungry!
I decided I wanted to try and reduce the amount of the oat - quinoa
flake mixture in this breakfast bowl the lower the carb amount, but I didn't want to skimp on the volume — hello hangry by 10 am — so I added in a few tablespoons of

coconut flakes all already have a lot of natural oil in them, so you don't have to add much extra oil to get them to brown in the oven.
