If we jump on them right away they are generally free — I've found so many I know I'll enjoy (now to find the time to read them) I too love the covers that are being posted - some really grab my attention when maybe the title doesn't right away.
But I do think we provide a slightly different perspective, and as long as people are reading and enjoying our posts we'll continue sharing our explorations and discoveries.

Very few people honestly care about little meaningless things like console wars and what people enjoy in their freetime, but the ones who do care flame - post it on the internet enough that it festers in the subconscious of those who read it.
I haven't played more than a handful of hours of the game, but I did enjoy almost all of my time with it, and at such a low price it has to be worth a look for anyone reading this post.

As far as my moniker is concerned, it may not have been the most carefully chosen moniker but was decided on rather short notice after it had become clear that — unless I happened to enjoy online abuse — I wasn't really going to be able to comment on WUWT posts and that if I did want to address what was said on WUWT I would need to write my own blog (which people could choose to read or ignore), rather than comment on theirs.
