I'm not fond of orange either and have none in my home
decor (or closet) but being a retired preschool teacher whose classroom was full of typical
Fall colors I have to include oranges, maroons, and yellows
for awhile or it just doesn't seem like I'm welcoming the season.
As
for fall colors in
decor, I find there's still a nice way to use the actual colors of the season, as long as you don't use them all together.
But, I had just
done the green pumpkins
for my other
fall decor and I
did want these to look a bit harvest - y.
-LSB-...] I've put ours on top of a shelf in our entry area, along with a bit of
fall decor... I'm still in the process of getting all our
fall seasonal
decor out, but it's the last big weekend at the cottage, so I'll have to finish everything after Labor Day... No, I
do not believe in witches, but autumn and Halloween is one of the few times out of the year that I go a step further in decorating
for the season... Below our entry shelf, we have our handy entry bench, which really comes in handy in the late
fall and winter
for putting on our boots.
This is a great project to
do with the kids or make a few
for yourself to add to your
fall decor.
Lastly and with all of that said, Of course I
do love to incorporate what you would consider traditional

The dining table doesn't get used
for eating very much, so it's a good place
for a burlap runner and some
fall decor.
I hadn't even started to look
for fall decor yet, I need to start so I don't miss out on the best items.
Since I've
done this
for years, I have a large collection of dried gourds to use
for fall decor.

for fall decor this past weekend and just couldn't bring myself to pay the high prices
for it this year.
This is the first
fall decorating that I've
done but I think it is setting the tone
for the rest of the seasons

My personal style tends to lean a little more transitional modern with clean lines and an eclectic feel so
doing something different in my
decor this season has made my home feel fresh
for fall but more importantly it blends and flows better with the rest of my home, vs. the traditional
fall colors that would have fought with my existing
decor.
Then CiderFest in Louisburg
did not disappoint with delicious hot apple cider, donuts, and the perfect pumpkins
for a little
fall decor in the apartment.

Two years ago, the words «

for.»
I'm still in the stage where

for.»
I can not wait
for the weather to catch up to my excitement
for this fabulous season of the year, but
for now some
Fall home
decor will have to
do!
I'm serious that when I was decorating the porch with
fall decor I was sweating so bad, I had to keep going inside
for air conditioning and water breaks, but none the less I got my
fall fix this week &
for those of you who want summer to stick around I'm sure you are thinking I deserved to sweat to death
for welcoming

do like switch a few things out and bring in some next textures and colors.
I don't use it all the time in my
decor, but I decided to bring it on the porch
for fall this year.
I could go on and on about how much I love and admire these talented ladies, but I'm pretty sure you're ready
for some easy farmhouse

for Halloween, so I love putting my
fall decor out a little early, too.

It's taking me longer to transition my
decor scheme
for Fall than it should have; however after
doing the living room and foyer remodels I have been so indecisive when it comes to seasonal decorating.
I think these pumpkins would make the perfect easy
fall decor — perfect
for people like me who generally don't know what they're
doing!

fall and then I realized that it doesn't have to be all these drastic changes, and I don't have to take time away from my family to
do it.
Since I've started blogging and reading so many fab American blogs I have really wanted to try out the whole seasonal decoration stuff though to stop my
decor from becoming stale, but the whole pumpkin
for autumn (ahem,
fall) thing doesn't quite fit over here.
Even though I
do feel just a twinge of sadness as I put away my summer things (I
do love the freshness of summer
decor), the process of getting settled in
for fall definitely suits my personality the most.

I live in Houston, so there are no
fall leaves / branches
for me to use in my
decor, but I
do like to collect pinecones to put in a bowl on one of my bunching tables.

Don't get me wrong, I like to decorate
for fall, but I also like my
decor to feel a little more subtle and gradual.
Now... I'm not hoping you'll obsess over these way too darn cute
for their own good,
fall decor pumpkins like I
did.
My husband and I just bought a new house and we
do not have any
fall decorations
for the new
decor.
