platform MGS5 will be coming, but going the track record, we can expect the

on next generation consoles powered by Fox Engine.

platform, they launch a complete Triple A
game, and compare that to how poorly the Beta Version
did on Nintendo's side to decide what they're developing for during the next generation.

Interactive feels that DLC doesn't sell well enough
on the Wii U to offer it to customers, despite the LEGO
games traditionally
doing very well
on the
platform.
Here are five
games on the
platform that didn't get the spotlight they deserved.
Two large indie
games that are already quite successful
on PC in profitability and popularity, Don't Starve and Binding of Issac: Rebirth, will be free to Playstation Plus members when the
games launch
on the PS4
platform.
In fact, Hitman Go received such acclaim that core
gamers clamored for Square Enix Montreal to bring it to more traditional gaming
platforms, and now the company has
done so: Hitman Go: Definitive Edition is launching tomorrow, Feb. 23,
on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and
on Steam for Windows PC.
While One Piece may not be anything new as it is a
game that has made an appearance
on a whole range of
platforms, including both the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, which it was actually first released
on back in 2013 for Japan, at lease the Switch version
does come with enhanced graphics and all the DLC!
I can only hope the developers learn from their mistakes and take their next Vita attempt more seriously because they
did very little to make a
game that compliments the
platform it is
on.
Monster Hunter and RE Revelations aren't inferior ports, that's why they sold good enough
on the Wii U. Resident Evil 6 skipped the Wii U because it's different from other Resident Evil

The problem is if Vita sales don't pick up soon, why would developers want to put their
game on the
platform?
Its story is good, delivering a true Halo narrative
on the
platform for the first time since Halo 2, and while the issues with the RTS elements might annoy some, it doesn't meant the
game isn't fun to play.
Capcom
did not offer a release date for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
on iOS, but they
did say the
game will be
on display and playable at E3 next week, along with several of their other upcoming titles for various
platforms.
Peggle for XBLA is a good example of a
game that we took that was popular
on the PC and we spent probably twice as long as anyone else would have figuring how to make that
game really good for Xbox and Xbox Live Arcade, and I think you will see that with Plants Vs. Zombies — I don't know the exact order in which that
game will make its way onto other
platforms, but it's certainly been successful enough, quickly enough, that we're looking at other
platforms and deciding where we'll take that
game next...
So what we've

game that's available across all major digital

on GTA 5, and even if they weren't quite right about it being the most profitable media product, they
did show that PC sales account for only 2.1 % of all shipped copies, meaning there isn't that huge a market for it
on this
platform, and that won't exactly mark the PC as a priority, even if 2.1 % of 90,000,000 copies sold is 1,890,000, more than some other
games sell in their lifetimes.One thing is for certain - if we ever
do get a PC port of RDR2, it will only be officially confirmed after the
game's initial release, considering how many extra sales GTA 5 raked in with people buying the same
game over and over for multiple
platforms...
Skyrim, which isn't developed by Nintendo but came to a Nintendo
platform for the first time earlier this month, is a natural fit into this mold and while the Switch doesn't exactly fit into your pocket, being able to sit down
on the subway and get transported away to its fantasy realm helps highlight what made the
game a success: the
game's beautiful world.
Skyrim's recent launch
on the Switch proved that popular old
games absolutely have an audience
on new
platforms, meaning that if Red Dead Redemption
does end up getting ported, fans would be all over it.
So far, the system has actually been
doing pretty good when compared to the rival
platforms;
games like LEGO City Undercover and NBA Playgrounds are prettier
on PS4 / Xbox One, but the Switch is not far behind at all.
This is another great
game, if you haven't picked it up
on some
platform,

on Switch!

Although Capcom left Xbox One out of the
game's pre-launch betas and you couldn't find Xbox gameplay before launch, Monster Hunter World has seemingly managed to
do well
on Microsoft's
platform regardless.
Gravity Rush 2 is a fun
game on the PlayStation 4 that offers players quite a diverse gaming
platform / adventure title with plenty of things to
do.
The Kickstarter success received acclaim
on other
platforms following its 2014 launch and Switch might be the only active
platform that doesn't have access to the
game as it's launched
on PC, mobile, and other current gen consoles.
The tool set in that
game is amazing and while I'll never, ever, try to build my own level, I
do get a kick out of seeing a classic Mario
game created
on Sony's user
platform.
It will have to fight against Microsoft - backed Forza Motorsport 7 and Sony - backed GT Sport in what may well be the hottest year ever for racing
games, but it has all the right cards to compete with them, including at least one the competitors don't — it will be available
on all major
platforms (PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One).
Or
do people really judge an entire
platform on whether or not that
platform has any mature
games?
Then once again we'll get the infamous question why it didn't sell well
on Wii U... Perhaps because the
game comes 3 - 5 months to late compared to other
platforms?
The only reason developers «don't care about us» is because 3rd party
games have never
done well
on a Nintendo
platform.
The
game has been released
on many different
platforms, but that doesn't mean Rayman Legends is not still a good
game.
