The
Italian novelist Umberto Eco famously said in the 1990s that Apple was like Catholicism in that its followers had to adhere to one way
of doing things, while Microsoft (you could say Google nowadays) was
more akin to Protestantism, which gave followers
more latitude to reach their own conclusions and organize themselves accordingly.

When the astronomical revolution
of the sixteenth century — in which the
Italian philosophers
of the Renaissance played a far
more important role than historians
of science admit — removed the universal cosmic clock, there were two alternative ways open to physics and philosophy
of nature: either to retain the relational theory
of time and to hold with Bruno (Bruno 1879, p. 144) that «there are as many times as there are the stars» (tot tempora quot astra), since there is no body possessing a privileged rotation motion, and the only body which allegedly had it — the sphere
of the fixed stars — has been swept away; or to save the unity and homogeneity
of time by separating it from any particular motion — and this is what Newton
did, anticipated in this respect by Isaac Barrow and, in particular, Gassendi.
It thus seems possible that if the forces
of particularism, what I will call the «ground bass»
of Italian society,
do not prevent it as they often have before in
Italian history, a differentiated pattern
of symbols and practices emphasizing individual liberty, social justice, and Christian charity might emerge to underpin a
more legitimate and
more effective
Italian state than has hitherto been known.

do take a bit
of pre-planning (I baked the potatoes before mixing with other ingredients (which means I had to remember that everyone's going to want to eat before they want to eat) and, since I wanted these to be weight - loss - friendly, I used this Creamy
Italian Dressing (which takes about 5 minutes longer than opening a bottle
of store - bought (but really didn't take any extra time because I had some on hand in my frig (which, thankfully, is the norm — we almost always have some in our frig because we eat it on nearly everything (salad, broccoli, rice, cabbage, bread, potatoes, and
more) and it gets used in lots
of recipes (like Garbanzo Pesto Salad and Chickpea Salad Sandwich)-RRB--RRB--RRB--RRB-.

Let's face it goalkeepers tend to march to the beat
of a different drum and Szczesny certainly fell into that category, but most
of his antics were relatively harmless and simply reflected a certain level
of immaturity that isn't uncommon for someone thrust into the limelight at such a young age... lord knows we've seen that happen with numerous players throughout the years and very few were ever banished for such behaviour... the only on - field action that drove me crazy was his inability to take a deep breath and not try to rush the play with an ill - timed throw at certain points in the game when common sense suggested holding the ball and slowing things down... the fact that he continued to
do this probably had a lot to
do with the glaring lack
of coaching time spent with the goalkeepers... ultimately he made the fateful decision to take his frustrations out into the public sphere and paid dearly for it... in the end, his services were wanted by several
of the best
Italian squads, which is significant considering the historical importance placed on the defensive side
of the ball in Serie A... all I know is that if someone asked me to pick the most athletically gifted goalkeeper we have had in our squad since the arrival
of Wenger, without hesitation, he would be my pick and for that reason his departure is
more than a little disappointing... what else is new though

of the modern era it would seem.

of playwright Tennessee Williams, the scenario at hand owing
more to Cat on a Hot Tin Roof than it
does Once Upon a Time in the West or Shane.
The rest
of the supporting cast — Statham, Law, Byrne and another British comedian Peter Serafinowicz, playing an amorously cheesy

- for Sonic's 25th anniversary last year, Iizuka received a task to deliver some sort
of product - the target was «dormant fans» who used to play the SEGA Genesis, but haven't really played any games since - Iizuka met Christian Whitehead, which lead to the creation
of Sonic Mania - there was talk
of another port, but Iizuka thought fans would desire something new from the old games - this is the first time Iizuka partnered with a team
of devs spread across various countries - Iizuka said this team had a greater passion to create - this was in comparison to companies that set decisions on a pre-determined schedule (in meetings, etc)- the team had so many features they still wanted to add after the beta version was complete - since there were only a few spots with text that needed to be localized, they could bring the game to
more places quicker - the game has Japanese, English, French,
Italian, German, and Spanish support - the Studiopolis stage is included due to receiving the most requests from the Sonic Mania development team - Iizuka actually considered reducing the amount
of stages at one point in order to meet the development schedule - Sonic Mania doesn't really have much in the way
of cut content like scrapped stages - since Sonic Mania was only distributed digitally, the team was able to continue working very close leading up to launch - this let them put in practically all ideas, and there are currently no plans for DLC - Iizuka recommended Flying Battery Zone for inclusion becaues he likes the music - he also likes when the player goes inside and outside the ship - Iizuka likes Mirage Saloon because the stage structure will be different depending on the player character chosen - Puyo Puyo gameplay was added because there was a Puyo Puyo game released in the west for the SEGA Genesis - this game was originally called «Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine», and the team thought it would make a fun boss battle - Iizuka didn't have plans to feature Blue Sphere in the special stages - the Blue Sphere special stages were brought over to Mania as a test, but ended up staying for the final game - the team felt the need to continuously connect stages from various eras, which is
doe with the Phantom Ruby story - for Sonic Mania, it was decided that the technological limit would be set at SEGA CD, - this is higher than the Genesis but lower than Saturn - in creating a SEGA CD - grade special stage, they would intentionally make SEGA CD - grade polygons
