its not really atheism or religion that I have a problem with, its the hate, control, and fear that goes along with it that I have a problem with, you say that those who are spiritual are into new agey, crystal ball, stuff, see that's what I'm talking about, you assume to know what
something is about when you don't understand
something you naturally fear it, your self righteous clouds you, don't you get that by being narrow minded in your view towards things, you really act no
better than religious fundamentalists, being spiritual is a lot
more than just the new agey, think positive all the time that you think it is, its about being aware

I still kept a round
of duties, and would not suffer myself to run into any open vices, and so got along very
well in time
of health and prosperity, but when I was distressed or threatened by sickness, death, or heavy storms
of thunder, my religion would not
do, and I found there was
something wanting, and would begin to repent my going so much to frolics, but when the distress was over, the devil and my own wicked heart, with the solicitations
of my associates, and my fondness for young company, were such strong allurements, I would again give way, and thus I got to be very wild and rude, at the same time kept up my rounds
of secret prayer and reading; but God, not willing I should destroy myself, still followed me with his calls, and moved with such power upon my conscience, that I could not satisfy myself with my diversions, and in the midst
of my mirth sometimes would have such a sense
of my lost and undone condition, that I would wish myself from the company, and after it was over, when I went home, would make many promises that I would attend no
more on these frolics, and would beg forgiveness for hours and hours; but when I came to have the temptation again, I would give way: no sooner would I hear the music and drink a glass
of wine, but I would find my mind elevated and soon proceed to any sort
of merriment or diversion, that I thought was not debauched or openly vicious; but when I returned from my carnal mirth I felt as guilty as ever, and could sometimes not close my eyes for some hours after I had gone to my bed.
It's

Every since mankind has been as the Apostle described us in his epistle (Again, 2 nd Timothy 3:1 - 5; see also what Jesus said in Mark 7:20 - 23), the only thing that has «advanced «at our hands is our architecture, our technology, and our search for medicinal cures for what ails us.No one is denying that we've
done tremendous
good with these various advances, but we've also
done awful, vicious, horrendous atrocities and brutalities as well.I've heard it quoted that out
of all the centuries, millennia that we've considered ourselves «civilized», we've had only a few hundred years where
something approximating peace has held sway among us.So again, I'm all world seeking to «make the world a
better place», as it were; I just believe that mankind in his present moral, ethical, and spiritual configuration is capable
of doing so.We can always enhance out technological prowess, improve our architechural designs, and make our drugs
more powerful, but what about our hearts?
While in its superficial and exploitative moments it wanted to wipe away the category

lol, yes clay i am an atheist... i created the sun whorshipping thing to have argument against religion from a religious stand point... however, the sun makes
more sense then
something you can't see or feel — the sun also gives free energy... your god once
did that for the jews, my gives it to the human race as
well as everything else on the planet, fuk even the planet is nothing without the sun... but back to your point — yes it is very hypocritical
of me, AND thats the point, every religious person i have ever met has and on a constant basis broken the tenets
of there faith without regard for there souls — it seems to only be the person's conscience that dictates what is right and wrong... the belief in a god figure is just because its tradition to and plus every else believes so its always to be part
of the group instead
of an outsider — that is sadly human nature to be part
of the group.
But I

of watching the audience squirm.
Well, he's got me proclaiming, for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, that
something is deeply amiss within; that we think we're special and you are not; that you need us
more than we need you; that we don't trust you or your brain; that you are obviously going to hell without us; that we are completely out
of touch with the real world; that we don't have a sweet clue about you, your kind, or your needs and desires; and that we're oblivious to innuendo and blind to double entendre.
Inspiration to
do good things is
something the world needs a whole lot
more of and no matter what form that inspiration comes in all walks
of life should learn to appreciate it instead
of always being so cynical about things they can't wrap their own little minds around...
And I have been largely reluctant to talk publicly about my opinions on the morality
of the issue,
something I believe the church has said enough about at this point (and recklessly so, which has
done more harm than
good).
I also don't expect people to «act» like «
good christians» but I
do believe that God has called us for the sake
of the world, and that we
do have
something to offer... not a pretence... yes reality and acceptance FOR ALL as they (and we) are... but is there
more to being a christian than this?
I would have thought that non-believers would have
something more practical to

of faith.
Second, perhaps if you would actually address the posts that have been cut and pasted in response to your arguments with
something beyond double talk and hiding behind recitation
of scripture that means little to those who
do not believe, and actually state viable,
well thought out arguments to said posts, then the board could move on to
more meaningful discussion.
And if you don't make your own curry paste, make sure to buy
something of good quality, it is worth it to pay two or three Euro
more in this case, I think, it really makes a difference.
