In the electronic world and dealing with folks who don't have knowledge of legislation nor legal research, they will easily just inform others that an online audit trail of electronic user activity and multiple versions, is good enough.

That is because almost every lawyer has learned to do legal research using an online case law system designed and structured to be used with keyword search.

In what I think is the second installment of my race to catch all of you up with what I've been doing (I discussed law firm business licenses a couple of days ago), I'm here to talk today about online legal research providers — in particular, my journey to deciding on what to do for my legal research needs.

While no one at that time really could foresee the future of online legal research in Canada, in retrospect, everyone should have expected that the natural «Canadian» predisposition to reconcile differences would produce a solution that would reflect everyone's interest, offend almost no one, and do the job as well as, if not better than, is done anywhere else.
