I primarily bought it to watch movies in 1080p (my earlier monitor had standard 720p resolution just like my laptop) and to
do photo editing in a bigger display.

I made and photographed some Burmese food this past weekend, but I've been up to my eyeballs with taxes and reading travel guidebooks over the past couple days, so I haven't been able to
do any photo editing or recipe writing.

done some photo editing right away after having my breakfast and then I went to meet a friend for coffee and did some grocery shopping.
You can transcode the occasional video on the Pavilion x2, but we'd recommend a more powerful system if you're thinking of

editing photos, carefully constructing bios and perfecting our profile to be exactly what we want others to see?
I
do know that the weather in Minnesota has been OUTSTANDING lately, so instead of
editing photos and cooking all the time I've been trying enjoying the sunshine (we only get 5 months of it).
I also simply don't feel like putting effort into
editing recent
photos since I've moved (again)-- it is such a pain, trying to document pretty food without any props and poor lighting and without my tripod.
First, analyze your
photo before
editing it because you don't want to
edit it just for the sake of
editing.

Editing photos is a love - hate relationship — so exciting when they turn out well, or like I am waging a war with Lightroom when they don't.
The one upside of
doing my work last minute is that I get to eat it while I
edit photos ha ha!
I have so many recipe
photos stored up in my computer, ready for
editing and blogging... finding dedicated time to
do so is somewhat tricky at times!
The only difference in these
photos it the
editing I
did.
I am having problems with my
photo editing software so I can't upload any
photos until I get the issue resolved (and yes I could use other programs like iPhoto, which I might have to
do in a pinch but I prefer to wait).
Instead, I am frantically trying to finish all the jobs that have been on my «to

I also had to be eating another serving while
editing the
photos, and I only just finished a third jar before sitting down to write this now (all on separate days, don't worry, I'm not turning into an oat).
I
did edit some
photos from a portrait shoot I
did... let's just say Lightroom is becoming my best friend.
Another tricky thing I
do is recipe testing in batches aka
do a bunch in one week and spend the next month
editing photos, writing the posts and retesting if I'm not 100 % sure about something.
With the actual blog, usually I try and stretch the process of creating the recipe, photographing it,
editing the
photos and writing the posts out over a few days so it doesn't feel as congested — but sometimes time constraints mean I have to bang it all out in one day.
I don't make the double
photo collages in Blogger, I make them in a free
photo editing program called Picasa, which you can download off the internet.
Because the 3 - 4 hours I get paid to
do nothing seemed like the perfect opportunity to
edit some
photos.
If I
do any
editing of my
photos for the blog, it is usually to remove dust and scratches from my table.
Other photography note — I
did ZERO color
editing on these
photos, yes, the sauce really was BRIGHT red!!
I tend to rely on cropping pretty heavily so it's nice I can
do it right on the camera, and I know I'd save myself a lot of time
photo editing.
Emily spends more time playing with her sons Sebastian and Walter than she
does working on her in - progress novel and
editing photos, but since children are only small once, she's willing to let everything else slide.
